Price Griffith, chief of city sanitarians, is shown putting water in one of the new wet cell flashlight batteries he is using for rat control work beneath buildings. One of the cells is shown on the charger, which revitalizes the batteries each night. On the desk is a short shelf with flashlights and other supplies.
