Description
Patsy Ann Manriquez, three year old girl, received a drawing of her birthday cake mailed by her father Lieutenant Raul Manriquez from a German prison camp. American fliers in the prison camp celebrate her birthday, for whom two famous Boeing B-17 Flying Fortresses are named after this tot. The drawing of her birthday cake has three lit candles. Text on drawing reads "Wednesday December 1, 1943. Happy Birthday". Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 19, 1944.
