Description
These alumni of Texas A & M refused to let war interfere with the custom of staging the annual muster and barbecue of graduates. So they got together on the Anzio-Nettuno beachhead. They even contrived the customary barbecue and had something wet with which to quaff a toast. The large group of soldiers, some kneeling and other standing behind, are taking a group portrait. Most of the men are holding drinking glasses. There appears to be a wire fence laying flat with ashes from something burned to the right of the group. One soldier is holding a stick over the ashes.
