Description
Captain Robert T. Nelson, member of the 91st Engineers, is back home after 25 months in the Pacific area. His group of engineers built roads, bridges, airports and other essential projects in Australia and New Guinea. He is visiting his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Miller of Fort Worth. He is the son of Mrs. Alice Nelson of Lufkin. Captain Nelson wears his full uniform in the half-length photograph. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 15, 1944.
