Description

Mrs. A. E. Dowell, mother of the bride, former Mary (Stuttering Sam) Dowell who became Mrs. Sigmund Hindley. Mrs. Dowell is wearing a floor-length flower gown that has a v-neckline and belted at the waist. She has on a large corsage and is wearing eyeglasses. Behind her are flower arrangements and candelabras. The double ring ceremony was performed in the large living room in the Dowell home. She played the wedding march music of Wagner and Mendelssohn and other piano accompaniment during the wedding. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 12, 1944.
