Description
Because their plane was grounded in Fort Worth, Texas, two Marines just back from combat duty in the South Pacific, had a chance to visit at the Service Men's Center with a Navy doctor who had treated them for ear injuries a month prior. Sitting on a couch are Lieutenant W. H. McKenzie (center), the doctor, and his two former patients, Staff Sergeant William G. Hadden, left, and Private First Class Irving Lutsky, right. The three men are wearing their military uniforms. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 16, 1944.
