Description

"The Yellow Table," painting by Veronica Helfesntellar is the $25 third prize winner offed by Mrs. C. O. Moore. It is exhibited at the current Local Artists Show in the gallery of the Public Library. The painting shows a cloth covered table with one chair. On the table are four oval plates, a wine bottle and other unidentifiable items. Next to the table is a folding divider with clothe draped on it . The setting is in an overgrown field with pheasants, leafless trees, and buildings, on the hill, in the distance. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 16, 1944.
