Description
Luther Todd, an Amon Carter-Riverside boxer will bid for the welter championship in the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) district meet. He is standing in front of a brick wall on a wooden floor. There is a stand alone radiator with boxing gloves and a box with a shirt lying on it. Todd is shirtless, wearing boxing briefs and a thin belt through the belt loops. His wrists are bandaged for support. He is wearing gloves, cuffed boxing shoes, and has a jumping rope in hand. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 9, 1944.
