Description
The American Red Cross Blood Donor Service mobile unit is visiting Henrietta, Texas. The Brooks family is visiting the mobile unit. Pictured here left to right, are Mrs. E. W. Brooks, Stanfield, holding Joan; Mr. E. W. Brooks, holding Anna Beth; and Patsy. The Brooks are a Gold Star Family, relatives of a United States military member who died in battle. They lost their son in a plane crash. Mrs. Brooks is wearing a collared blouse, blazer, and a matching skirt. Joan, sixteen months, is dressed in a bonnet and a coat. Mr. Brooks is wearing a suit. Anna Beth, three, is dressed in a coat. Patsy, ten, is wearing a collared blouse, jacket, and a skirt. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 7, 1944.
