First Lieutenant (Lt.) R. A. Hancock, bombardier in the 15th Air Force. This 23-year old Fort Worth boy is the son of E. A. Hancock, 4118 E Belknap, and Mrs. Ray Brusseau, 2409 Gould. He is married to the former Mary Lou Pate. Hancock is wearing his military uniform with his militant hat slightly cocked to the left. The lieutenant wears the Air Medal with five Oak Leaf Clusters and is to receive four more and has two battle stars on his theater ribbon. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 5, 1944.
