Description
Denton, Texas citizens turned out to make blood donations to the Red Cross through the Fort Worth Blood Donor Center's mobile unit. Pictured is the room where the donor's medical history is assessed. Seated left to right are Agnes Smith of the North Texas State Teachers College business office; Mrs. Maurice Diehl, nurses' aide; Carolyn Schmitz, Texas State College for Women sophomore, and Mrs. Tennye Cook, staff nurse. Mrs. Diehl and Mrs. Cook are wearing their nurse uniforms and Miss Smith is wearing a dress and a knit sweater. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 5, 1944.
