    Description

    Juanita Barrett, joined the WAVES (Women Accepted for Voluntary Emergency Service). Barrett was a former employee of the Fort Worth National Bank and is a resident of 3221 Cockrell. She completed a nurse's course at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and is en route to Mare Island to join the hospital corps. Ms. Barrett is dressed in uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 2, 1944.
