    English commercial airmen. Left to right, Vernon Crudge, A. C. Campbell Orde, Amon Carter, and Lord Knollys. The men were concluding a tour of American transport plane factories and stayed as guests of Amon Carter at the Fort Worth Club. Lord Knollys is chairman of the British Overseas Airway Corporation and was accompanied by A. C. Campbell Orde, Lord Knollys' assistant, and and Vernon Crudge of Baltimore, West Atlantic regional director for British Airways. The three men are standing next to each other and are wearing suits and Shady Oak Hats gifted to them by Amon Carter, photographed before their departure for Washington, D. C.
