Sergeant Forrest G. Seaver standing against a wall in a military uniform. Seaver, who served as a turret gunner on B-17 Flying Fortresses in some of Europe's most contested aerial engagements, received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters for meritorious achievements. Image appeared in the Star-Telegram Evening Edition, March 20, 1944.
