Description
The undefeated Texas A&M Aggies are facing off against the Tulane Green Waves in the 1940 Sugar Bowl. The game is being held in front of a crowd of 73,000 at Tulane Stadium. The photograph shows the progression of a six yard pass from Aggie quarterback, number 45 Walemon Price, to Derace Moser, number 42. The Aggies went on to win the game 14-13 after two rushing touchdowns from fullback, John Kimbrough. With a perfect 11-0 season, the Texas A&M Aggies were named National Champions.
