Description
"Texas - and particularly Fort Worth - has become extremely important in aviation. Because it would be unwise to concentrate the aircraft industry on the coast, where it could be bombed, Fort Worth will be strategically located as an aircraft center after the war", J. S. Pedler, manager of B. F. Goodrich's Aeronautical Division, declared Wednesday. Here for the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show, the Goodrich official is the guest of W. G. Zink, Southwest aeronautical manager, and E. E. Bost, assistant aeronautical manager. He arrived Sunday from Akron, Ohio, and will return Thursday. Mr. Pedler is wearing a hat and suit standing outside. A building and car are in the background. Star-Telegram Evening March 15, 1944
