Description
Private Leon P. French is stationed with the Army at Camp Luna at Las Vegas, New Mexico. Before the war, Private French owned Frenchy's Aircraft Service at Municipal Airport. He also serviced planes for world flights, and established the Army-Navy motor overhaul course for Pratt and Whitney at Harford, Connecticut. Since joining the Army, Private French's duties have been limited to sorting mail and tending the camp's washing machines. He is standing in an at ease position, dressed in his military uniform.
