Description
The Texas Philatelic Association is holding their 44th annual convention at the Blackstone Hotel. Sitting at a table and looking through a book are, left to right, J. L. Abbott and A. F. MacCallum. Mr. Abbott was awarded the second grand award at the exhibit for his collection of airmail stamps. He is dressed in a suit. Mr. MacCallum, of Houston, Texas, won the grand award of the exhibit for his exhibition of souvenir sheets of stamps. He is wearing a three piece suit.
