Description
First Lieutenant Mary L. Roberts, Army nurse with the Baylor Evacuation Hospital Unit at the Anzio beachhead, who was presented the Silver Star for exceptional bravery under heavy artillery shelling on February 10, hasn't mentioned the bombardment in letters to her mother, Mrs. Mary Collier, of Dallas, Texas. Lt. Roberts, who was sent to North Africa last April, was under fire for the first time during air raids on Bizerte, Tunisia. She has been in heavier action since then. Lt.
