Description
Air Transport Command (ATC) is left to right, Brigadier General H. A. Craig, Major General M. S. Fairchild, and Major General Harold L. George. General George is the commanding general of the ATC. He stopped in Fort Worth, Texas on his way to Sweetwater, Texas for the graduation of a class of women pilots, or Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs). He was accompanied by General Fairchild, a member of the joint strategic committee and Brigadier General Craig of the ATC headquarters. The men are sitting on a couch, dressed in their military uniforms. There is lamp standing behind the couch and a painting on the wall.
