Description
Doctor Franz Washer is the conductor of the von Trapp Family Singers. The Baron and Baroness von Trapp and their seven singing daughters are arriving in Fort Worth, Texas to perform a concert at the Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium. They are looking forward to watching a genuine Texas Rodeo at the opening of the Fat and Stock Show. Doctor Washer, an Austrian priest, met the von Trapp family while he was teaching in a Salzburg seminary. Since they formed their partnership, the group has made several tours through France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, and Scandinavia before coming to America. Doctor Washer has his arms folded as he leans against a wall. He is dressed in his clerical clothes.
