Description

Investigating the explosion at the Pan-American Fireworks Company are left to right, Harry Adams, Fire Chief C. C. Killian, Colonel Crosby Field, Lieutenant Colonel Harvey E. Hanna, and Captain B. R. China. The men are looking over the wreckage of a powder house where the explosion is believed to originated. Mr. Adams is the Parks Superintendent. He is wearing a hat, suit, and a coat. Chief Killian is dressed in a hat and a suit. Colonel Field, of Chicago, Illinois, is wearing a military uniform and a long coat. Lieutenant Colonel Hanna is from the Fort Worth Q. M. Depot. He is dressed in his military uniform and a coat. Captain China, of Chicago, Illinois, is wearing a military uniform and a long trench coat.
