Description
Mrs. Anna Scott is holding the Purple Heart which was awarded to her son, A. J. Scott, posthumously. A. J., seventeen, left high school to join the Navy. He was killed on the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor six months later. Mrs. Scott has two other sons serving in the Navy. She is standing in front of a wallpapered wall, wearing a dark colored dress and a necklace. There are two pictures hanging behind her.
