Description
Left to right, Jack Carriger and Wayne Ewing, war veterans, charged with having stolen gun. Both are from Coleman. Mr. Carriger was in the Army and discharged after being wounded. He was awarded a Purple Heart. Mr. Ewing was a Marine and was also discharged after being wounded. Carriger was at a café when a man offered to sell him a gun. It wasn't until later that Carrieger found out it was a stolen government weapon. Both Carrieger and Ewing were jailed for receiving and concealing stolen government property. The men hope to find the real thief and prove their innocence. Mr. Carriger is wearing a button up shirt and jacket. Mr. Ewing is wearing a western shirt and a cowboy hat.
