Description
Left to right, Mrs. Henry Goyne and Mrs. May Orr, employees of Firestone Cotton Mills, to donate blood to Red Cross. Both women do more than their share at Firestone Cotton Mills, working overtime and as much as ten hours a day. Mrs. Orr recruits people on her floor of the mill for blood donations. She has twin boys in the Air Force. Mrs. Goyne has nine children. Three of her boys are in the service. Mrs. Goyne is wearing a striped shirt and overalls. Mrs. Orr is wearing trousers and a button-up shirt. They are standing next to machinery.
