    Description

    The Fort Worth Cats are signing a Texas Christian University football and baseball star. They are left to right, Business Manager Walter Morris, President Tom Brown and Don Looney. Looney is signing a contract to play centerfield with the Cats. He led the Horned Frogs with a.370 batting average, many of his licks going for extra bases. The Sulphur Springs, Texas boy bats and throws right-handed. Looney was the sixty-third pick in the 1940 Football draft by the Philadelphia Eagles as an End. Mr. Morris is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and pinstripe trousers. Mr. Brown is dressed in a suit. Looney is wearing a button-up shirt and a coat.
