Description
War Bond Drive. Purple Heart wearers (left to right) Private Kelly L. Bean, Private First Class Gerald Hearnsberger, Private George Nelson and Corporal Alfred Breton. The four men are shown standing against a wall that has a hat rack on it. Hearnsberg, Nelson and Breton are standing on crutches while Bean stands shoulder to shoulder with Hearnsberg. They display camera-shy grins as they ask the city to buy war bonds. Bean appears to be missing part of his arm while Hearnsberg and Breton are missing their left foot. All four are dressed in military uniform.
