Description

Municipal Airport Reporting Ceremony. Captain M. W. Alford of Braniff hands messages of congratulation to Mayor Pro Tem Roscoe L. Carnrike. Jack Rattikin, right, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Aviation Committee looks on. Captain Alford is dressed in his uniform. Both Mr. Carnrike and Mr. Rattikin are wearing a suit, hat, and an overcoat. There is a ribbon with the word "aviation" pinned to each of their lapels. The three men are standing on the stairway leading to the airplane. Inside the airplane is another man wearing a uniform.
