Description
Charles (left) and Albert Newman, students of Hubbard Elementary School, shown mounted on their Shetland pony. Stacks of old newspapers and periodicals are attached to the saddle on the pony and on the ground are more stacks and bags filled with paper. The collection of paper is their contribution to the waste paper campaign being conducted in public schools. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition January 29, 1944.
