    Description

    Leon J. Livingston, Navy sailor, of Dallas, Texas, who had two ships shot out from under him, the Hornet and the Northampton. Livingston previously attended the University of Texas, and is currently quartered with other Navy personnel in Clark Hall at Texas Christian University. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon L. Livingston. He enlisted in February, 1942 and wears battle stars for Guadalcanal, Savo Island and Santa Cruz Island. He is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing his uniform. His cap reads "U. S. NAVY."
