    The Cox family, of Detroit, Michigan, is in Fort Worth, Texas, visiting relatives, cousin, Mrs. George Colvin and Mr. Colvin. Mrs. J. L. Cox and children are pictured here. From left to right, are John Cox, Mrs. J. L. Cox, and Martha Ruth Cox. John is dressed in a suit with argyle socks. Mrs. Cox is wearing a button-up blouse and a skirt. Martha Ruth is wearing a collared dress and a bow in her hair. Mrs. Cox is the former Miss Mary Lou Bartels, a former Fort Worth resident. The family stopped here after spending a month in Houston, Texas, with Mrs. Cox's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John O. Bartels. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 20, 1944.
