Description
Corporal (Corp.) Harold A. Bierman is a soldier in the United States Army. He was born in Germany, but his family left in 1938 before the outbreak of war. Corporal (Corp.) Bierman is now a naturalized American citizen. His parents are living in London. He is in Fort Worth, Texas, on a convalescent furlough visiting his cousin, Mrs. R. Fuller. He speaks Latin, German, French, English, and Spanish. At the end of his furlough, he will report to Camp Gruber, Oklahoma, to serve as an interpreter. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 18, 1944.
