    Description

    The Boulevard Methodist Church is being dedicated Sunday by Bishop Ivan Lee Holt. Construction cost $55,000 and is now debt free. Conducting the dedication services left to right, are Reverend Frank P. Culver, Reverend S. A. Barnes, Bishop Holt, and Reverend L. Bowman Craven. Reverend Culver, now retired, is the former district superintendent and former pastor of First Methodist Church. He is dressed in a dark, double breasted suit. Reverend Barnes, district superintendent, is wearing a three-piece suit. Bishop Holt, of Dallas, Texas, is dressed in a three-piece suit with a pocket square. Reverend Craven is the pastor of Boulevard Methodist Church. He is wearing a collared shirt, necktie, vest, tailcoat, and striped trousers. A choir is seated behind podium. Arrangements of gladiolas frame the pulpit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 17, 1944.
