Description
The Castleberry Fire Department is loading equipment on their new fire truck. Pictured here, left to right, are L. J. Kellum and Captain (Capt.) E. E. Johnson. Mr. Kellum is the chief of the volunteer fire fighting unit at Castleberry. Captain (Capt.) Johnson is with the Fort Worth Fire Department. Both men are wearing winter coats and gloves. They are standing at the back of the fire truck, coiling a water hose. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 10, 1944.
