Description
Reginald Mattison, 16, standing outside, wearing a winter coat and a hat. Mr. Mattison sounded the fire alarm that alerted the 12 other students, and the dean of men, of the West Hall boys' dorm at Southwestern Junior College of the fire that would destroy the building. Mr. Mattison is the son of Reverend and Mrs. R. R. Mattison. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition January 3, 1944.
