Mason, right, pastor, are shown burning the mortgage against Arlington Heights Baptist Church. Inset is a sketch of the congregation's proposed new building. The three men are wearing suits, and seven unidentified men are standing behind them. Mr. Polk and Reverend Mason are holding the platter on which the mortgage is placed above a podium and Mr. Stripling is lighting it with a match. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, December 20, 1943.
