Description

Jim Bumpas, District Manager of the U.S. Railroad Retirement. In the photograph, Mr. Bumpas is wearing a stripped suit, vest, inner shirt, hat and tie. He is standing in front of a show glass with his indexed left finger pointed upwards. The Show glass has a job posting with the following written, " Need a job ? Railroads need now- Switchmen, Brakemen, firemen, clerks, shop helpers, and painters". There is also a poster with the words "Enlist in the troops of Industry". Beside the show glass on the right of the picture, there is a brick wall and on the left there is an open entrance and a chair inside the building.
