    Pre-Christmas packages at Ashburn General Hospital were sorted in the Red Cross library by Miss Hazel Kindle, left, standing, and two patients, Private Clarence D. Williams, center, seated, and Private M. C. Willhite, right, kneeling. Far right is an unidentified man sitting on a chair. Miss Kindle is wearing a sweater and skirt, Private Williams is wearing a shirt and trousers, and Private Willhite is wearing a robe.
