Red Cross Blood Donor Service. mobile unit. Mrs. Roger B. Owings, who helps drive the truck from Evansville, Indiana.A woman in a red cross uniform jacket, blouse, and hat. A patch with a red cross on her shoulder and a white-outlined cross pin on her hat. Insignia on her jacket epaulettes and something at her necline. She is wearing leather driving gloves and holding the steering wheel. The truck has flat glass in the split windshield. There is a rear view mirror on an extended arm and there are small lights above the cab. The fuel tank cap is next to the driver's door. Mrs. Owings is looking out of the side window of the truck.This clipping applies to two photos in the negative envelope: "The mobile unit for Fort Worth's new Blood Donor Service is here, ready to be equipped with folding cots and refrigerators for its work of collecting blood from 22 surrounding counties.
