Description
The Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) football team is hosting the visiting Rice University Owls (dark jerseys) at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. In a tough defensive game, the Owls managed to breakthrough with a long pass. Rice tailback Bucky Sheffield (49) dropped back to the Frog 45-yard line where he was met with pressure. Before the defense could bring him down, he hurled a pass downfield to end Bruce Bradbeer. Bradbeer is shown back-peddling, near the ten, just before catching the pass. Frog James Lucas made the tackle a few yards short of the end zone. The Owls drove the ball in for the touchdown a few plays later and went on to win the game, 13-6.
