Description
The Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) football team is hosting the visiting Rice University Owls at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. One of the happiest moments for Frog fans came on this play. Frog back James Lucas (40) fielded a punt on his own 17-yard line. After a strong block from teammate Chet Hall (25), Lucas weaved down the sidelines, never touched by the Owls. He returned the punt 83 yards for the touchdown. Other key blockers in on the play were Captain Clyde Flowers (72) and Kendall Bond (32). Despite the exciting play, Rice won 13-6.
