Description
These Boyd High School trackmen won the state Class "B" championship at Denton, Texas. The complete squad, from left to right, is (back row) Coach Sam A. Moore, J. D. Flowers, Lewis King, Joe Banks; (front row) Guinn Arrington, Raymond Jones, Elmo Wise; and (front) Lewis Rotten, manager. Jones won the 400-yard dash and ran on the relay team. Manager Rotten is wearing a letterman jacket, shirt and trousers. Coach Moore is wearing a suit. Jones is wearing a striped t-shirt and trousers. The other men are wearing collared shirts and trousers.
