Virginia Reynolds, 3 1/2 years old girl selling poppy to Billy Mathis, aviation ordnance man at Eagle Mountain Lake Naval Air Station.In front of the photo wall at the Star-Telegram are two people, a man in a Navy enlisted dress blues uniform holding a small girl in his arms. Mathis's dark uniform has braid on his collar and sleeves and a white sailor hat. Reynolds is wearing a satin-looking blouse with a short pleated darker skirt covered by a matching short cape and garrison-style cap. There is an insignia on her cap and on her cape collar, and she is holding a handful of artificial poppies in her left hand and hold one up to Mathis with her right hand.
