Copy of photo of Mrs. Claude McClaren, who died November 6, 1943 Photo of a woman in a flower print blouse or dress, with a jewelry broach in the center of her bodice and a comb in her hair. There is a light impression of "Love, Mother" in handwriting to the right of her face. Clipping: "Funeral Monday Mrs. McClaren Is Dead at 42 Resident of Handley for 16 Years Dies in Fort Worth Hospital. Mrs. Claude McClaren, 42, resident of Handley for 16 years, died Saturday in a Fort Worth hospital after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Monday in the Handley Baptist church, of which Mrs. McClaren was a member, with Rev. Earl Stallings officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill. Surviving are the husband, Claude C. McClaren; three sons, Carl, Esca J., and Claude C. McClaren Jr. of Handley; three daughters, Mrs. Nolan Preston and Miss Nadene McClaren of Fort Worth, and Dura Maye McClaren of Handley; parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Davis of Mansfield; four brothers, Virgil and Joe Davis of Oakland, Cal., Aura Davis of Clerita, Okla., and R. C. Davis Jr., United States Army; and three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Hamil of Wharton, Mrs. Andy Cochran of Fort Worth, and Mrs. Eugene McLeroy of Handley."
