The Texas Christian University football team is hosting the visiting Texas Tech Raiders at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Seated in the grandstands, left to right, are Mary Alice Simpelman and Private First Class Horace Butts. Miss Simpelman is a native of Fort Worth, Texas. She is wearing a dress and a coat. Private Butts attended Texas Tech in 1940 and 1941. He is currently stationed at Brook Field. He is dressed in his military uniform.
