J. W. Warren, right, deacon of White Settlement Baptist Church, breaks ground for site of new Church building while Reverend Truman Aldredge, pastor, looks on.Two men in double-breasted dark suits, light shirts, and dark patterned ties, are standing in a lot with gravel, dried grass, and spectators viewing the traditional first shovelful of dirt at the groundbreaking for a new church. Aldredge, who is wearing glasses, is holding what appears to be a bible. Warren is holding a square point shovel loaded with soil and gravel. There are children and adults behind the men, in some instances a booklet or brochure in hand. The viewers are wearing their "Sunday" clothes - dresses, slacks and shirts, jackets, hats, sandals, dress shoes. Clipping:"W. W.
