Description
Tom Scoggins, left, and B. F. Hungate, "rat-proofing" building. Two men standing outside a building clad with stone and mortar, next to a window with a thick stone sill and a wire hardware cloth and tin grate to keep rats out. There is a decorative grill under the hardware cloth. To the right of the photo is a grated storefront and a wire screen door partially in view. Scoggins is holding a coil spring animal trap for small animals, including a small chain to attach the trap so the animal can't drag the trap away, and a classic wire and spring on wood rat trap. He is wearing a light dress shirt and dark trousers and a wedding ring on his left hand. Hungate is holding another small coil spring animal trap with a chain. He is wearing a light (looks like khaki) dress shirt, a dark solid tie, khaki trousers, and a cardigan sweater with knit sleeves and back and a solid fabric front. The edge of the vest and the pockets have ornamental stitching. He has two pens in his shirt pocket.Clipping:"[Headline obscured - trimmed off]. . . of Habit and Easily. . .
