Mrs A.H. Brandt, 68, oldest member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She is wearing a black dress accented with a white collar and cuffs, and a silver-colored round broach at the neckline. She is wearing glasses. Her black brimmed hat has a pleated shape in black and a lighter accented color, surrounded by a large-weave black lace. In front of her is a large three-layer frosted cake with regular candles placed around it. She is holding a knife in preparation to cut the cake. Behind her is a table with a white table cloth and numerous chairs pulled up around it. There are also layers of cloth on the table where the cake rests. Clipping: "St. Paul's Lutheran Observes 50th Birthday Mrs. A. H. Brandt is Oldest Living Member; Served as Church's First Organist More than 250 members attended the Golden Jubilee services at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Sunday commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Lutheran Church in Fort Worth. Oldest member now living is Mr.s A. H. Brandt, 68, of 1701 East Lancaster, who joined the church in 1895. Mrs. Brandt, vice president of the Ladies Aid, served as the church's first organist for 38 years, and knew the founders. Rev. John Schulenberg organized the congregation. . . "
