    Office of Civil Defense (OCD). 5,000 women block majors began their "blitz" from house to house in Fort Worth. Shown here in the photograph are, left to right, Mrs. Sam Estes, Mrs. I. I. Isbell, Mrs. C. L. McLendon, Mrs. J. O. Bishop, Mrs. Z. Leigh Bliss. The women are standing together in front of a door. Some of the women are dressed in suits while others are wearing dresses and they all have hats. They are all smiling as they pose for the camera.
