Description
John L. Abbott, of the Prichard and Abbott firm, is preparing an exhibit of 10 frames of British Colonial stamps for the 44th annual convention of the Texas Philatelic Association. The convention will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, from May 10 to 12. The 10 frames will be composed of 80 sheets of stamps. Abbott is exhibiting only the British Colonies of which he has complete sets of stamps. He has been collecting stamps for 25 years. He is sitting at a desk, wearing a suit and necktie. He is holding a book of stamps. On the desk is a lamp with a base shaped like two birds.
